Competitions for the scener

Most of the graphicians, musicians, coders and other talented people in the scene release their productions at demoparties, this is what demoscene is about after all. But all of us can't attend every single demoparty and besides not every party has a compo for photography or some other kinds of art.

This is a list of all sorts of art/programming contests that are either related to demoscene or are of such topics/mediums that many sceners might be interested in them. It also includes contests held at demoparties that don't require attendance to participate. Most of the contests have concrete prizes to win, often highly valuable stuff.
